Embroidered Pillow Cover Bird I embarked on a journey"Embroidered design of birds in geometric patterns that represent the nature of Guatemala and its traditional customs." This work of art was designed and hand stitched by Melina Yol Chiquit , member of the Sumpango embroidery group. The embroidery is done in a variety of stitches in mostly shades green and multicolor. The design is a combination of birds, geometrics and fauna on a deep indigo fabric. Beautiful on the couch or the bed.
