The Sgian Dubh's hand polished pewter mounts, which we make ourselves, feature an open zoomorphic interlace beast design. Each hand polished pewter mount is electroplated with palladium, a member of the platinum group of metals, which gives lasting shine and durability. The pewter mounts are set on both ends of the Sgian Dubh's basket weave handle which holds the polished stainless steel blade
