The Cure: Boys Don't Cry (86 Mix) - Vinyl 12" Single EP The Modern Jazz Quartet carved12" Single Black Vinyl 86 Mix The Cure's 'Boys Dont Cry' is from the bands debut album, 'Three Imaginary Boys'. It went on to become one of the band's signature tracks and achieved success in 1986, when Robert Smith re recorded the vocal and remixed the backing track. Released on vinyl for the first time it includes the 7" & 12" versions of 'Boys Dont Cry (New Voice New Mix)', now retitled 'Boys Dont Cry (86 Mix)'.
