The jade used in this piece was sourced from our helicopter trips to our mining claims in the Leech Lake mountain area in Mendocino County

I then spent many hours meticulously removing the attached serpentine matrix so as to expose the exquisite jade floater nugget within. A floater Botryoidal Jade nugget is one that has no attachment to the jade body of the deposit and is extremely rare. I used lots of diamond powder in my proprietary blend of diamond polishes
